Our basic Singapore DPO service allows you to identify us as your PDPA representative and contact point for the local Regulator and data subjects as required under the regulations. Subject to further agreement and as an additional service GDPRLocal can also take on the statutory duties expected of the Singapore DPO. These could include providing advice, oversight and regulatory liaison relevant to your organisation's personal data handling practices. These additional options can be delivered flexibly, covering the ongoing guidance, monitoring and escalation support that a Singapore DPO function typically requires, tailored to the size, sector and risk profile of your organisation. Once engaged, GDPRLocal is formally designated as your DPO and becomes your organisation's named point of contact for PDPA-related matters, both internally and, where required, with Singapore's regulator. Your team continues to own the day-to-day operation of your data protection programme, while GDPRLocal supplies the qualified, independent DPO oversight as the role requires.
